How to Walk on High Heels
Nowadays it’s common to see girls walk tirelessly with 3-5 inch heels on the streets or around the mall. But the question is: how do they do it?

Do you have difficulty walking when you are wearing high heels? Does it kill your feet when you walk with them on?

Sometimes when girls feel short, they tend to want something that will give them a few extra inches of height. Personally, I have that feeling and I discovered that wearing high heels is one solution.
Not only are high heels useful for extra height, sometimes they are really fashionable and they look prettier than pumps or flat shoes.

Here are some ideas that allow you to wear high heels like an expert:

1. Wear your heels in a sitting position and around the home first. After a period of time they will become more comfortable and you will probably forget you are even wearing them. If you are planning to wear heels outdoors or at a club on the weekend, wear them around the house for a few hours first until they feel natural.

2. Try wearing high heel shoes outdoors in the garden or even to the local shops. Wearing these on both soft and hard surfaces will give you a greater understanding of how the shoe will react and respond.

3. Sitting with only your toes touching the floor and with your heels raised will train your foot and ankle to be more accustomed to the right angle for wearing high heels. This will also make the high heel shoe feel more comfortable.

4. Try standing and walking around the house on your toes as this will help you develop a stronger ankle and better balance. Extend the length of time that you do this each day until you can perform normal household activities for extended periods of time without placing your heels on the floor.

5. Try walking up and down stairs and laying out items on the floor and stepping over them, with the assistance of a handrail for balance if needed. You can also try standing on one foot whilst watching television or performing another task. This will help you to learn further balance and prepare you more for walking outdoors

Tip: Always put plaster behind your feet before you wear your new heels to avoid developing blisters. Make sure that the high heel is the correct size so that it does not slip off easily.
