Golden hoop chinese knot

The golden hoop knot is another base technique for creating chinese knots. It looks a lot like a number 8 knot.

1 – two threads split between top and bottom, top thread (green) loop twice around the bottom thread (red).

2 – Take bottom right thread (red) and loop above the 2 green loops and return through the middle

3 – Using the right red thread, loop only the second green loop, repeats steps 2 and 3 to continue the pattern

4 – Continue until the desired length, finally tying the 2 ends together to finish.
