1. Starting point is step 6 of Basic Form VIII. Fold together the two front wings to the left, and the two rear wings to the right.

2. Fold the lower corner upwards and press down on the edges of the created square.

3. Fold the form in half as marked.

4. Open up the form.

5. Valley fold each side upwards as marked…

6. … and press the under surfaces together.

7. Combination fold upwards to the inside.

8. Fold form together in the middle.

9. Pull left middle point outward slightly and press it down.

10. Valley fold at the marked lines.

11. Repeat the step on the reverse.

12. With combination fold, bend the right lower corner…

13. … up and to the inside.

14. Valley fold downwards.

15. Repeat steps 12 to 14 on the reverse.

16. Combination fold the right lower corner on the front and back sides upwards and to the inside.

17. Fold the neck to the rear.

18. Bend the head forward again.

19. Form beak and zigzag fold.

20. Completed swan.
