Don’t worry! We weren’t hacked. And you weren’t hacked too.

You’ve reached this page, simply because AsianFanatics is currently in the process of moving servers. This time it will only affect the forum. The rest of the site is still in working condition.

Should take a few hours but I’ll try to keep you updated.

You can write some comments to keep yourself busy? Or maybe go and browse some images?

Status update:
done:

  • database cleaning
  • backup database
  • copying database
  • syncing files between servers
  • database restore except forumdatabase
  • software upgrade
  • redirect users to statusmessage
  • re-opening subsites

in progress

  • restoring forumdatabase (rebuild index) takes about 3 hours

Expected finishtime 14:00 GMT (2PM GMT)

–Another update:

database has been rebuilt to 4GB now. It should grow to 6.2GB. On our old server it takes 4 hours. Could this server be so fast that it only needs half of the time?

11:27GMT now at 4.8GB 1.4GB to go

–Another update:

11:44GMT 5.4GB less than 1GB to go (this server is fricking amazing)

12:04 GMT DONE!!

    I didn’t see star friends. Tried looking for it on YT, but haven’t found anything yet.
    I’m hoping to see the perfs too, but I’m watching through Gom TV, and the connection keeps cutting off. (It only happens during perfs, not during Award handouts)
    Brown Eyes got the Best R&B Award for Kajima! Kajima! > One of my top favorites!

  54. yes AF can be viewed already. Have you changed your hosts-file to bind AF to an IP? if so, you need to remove your hostfile and restart your computer.
