Install Eonon DVD headrests in a Toyota Yaris Hybrid

It’s amazing how hard it is to find information on how to install aftermarket DVD-headrests in vehicles. So here is my guide.

I have a Toyota Yaris Hybrid. Great little car. I love the comfort.

I also have a kid. And we all know that kids are easily bored, especially on long rides. So I’ve been looking for a way to add some entertainment for those long drives. I’ve used a iPad holder before, but I didn’t like the thought that a slab of metal and glass would fly towards my kid’s head in case of an accident. Those flimsy iPad holders really are not that dependable.

Therefore, I’ve been looking for aftermarket DVD-headrests. (there were no OEM-versions, and OEM-versions are usually much too expensive anyway). I went for a set of Eonon DVD headrests (no touchscreen. For these kind of simple technology, I’m going for good old buttons. Touchscreens are just too slow for these cheap devices)

A sneak preview on how it looks.

Sugaring paste – a natural hair removal method

Sugaring paste – a natural hair removal method

Waxing, plucking, shaving – are these methods just not right for you? Personally, I have extremely sensitive skin, so waxing has never really been an option (in case the chemicals cause further irritation), and shaving can make hair grow back thicker so that was a definite no-no! Whilst searching for a more natural method of [...]

Miscommunication: Whose fault is it?

Miscommunication: Whose fault is it?

Oftentimes, when information gets to us it comes in bits and pieces; very rarely does it come in its full shape. Because of this, pieces of information are lost in the process of trying to communicate the details from one person to another, which can result in misunderstandings. If you’re the informant, would you bother [...]

Making Friends: The First Move

We may feel either excited or distraught at the thought of meeting new people and making new friends, whether it is on the first day of school, or an orientation organized by the school to promote “ice-breaking” activities. Some people may find making the first move easy, while others find it incredibly difficult. When you [...]

Education: Love it or Hate it

“School sucks!” “I wish I could have holidays all year round (although you know that won’t happen)!” There’s at least one time in your life when you’ve said it, but did you really mean it? Many a time, we say things on impulse, usually prompted greatly by something that painstakingly makes you feel like you’re [...]
